Persimmon (kaki) Banana Oat Bread 🌟


- 2 cups ground oat meal
- 3 large overripe bananas
- 1 persimmon pealed and cubed
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp @knowfoods chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 pinch of sea salt

What to do 
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. in a small pot over medium heat, add smashed bananas (mine were frozen), and cubed persimmon. Allow to heat. Mix frequently. This will soften the kaki and bring out juices of both fruits. 
3. In a separate bowl add oats, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon to bowl and stir
4. Add in two eggs
5. add in banana and persimmon mixture to oats/egg mixture and stir well
6. Add in desired amounts of chocolate chips (can add walnuts too here!)
7. Put in baking pan , and place in oven for 45-60 minutes

*if you like a nice, minimally sweet bread, this is for you! Hits the spot as a snack or dessert.

What you will need: - 2 1/2 cups GF oats
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 2 cups unsweetened applesauce
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 15 ounce can pumpkin puree - optional: coconut shreds, nuts, and chocolate chips

What to do:
1. Whisk together dry ingredients. Set aside.
2. Add the rest of the ingredients to a mixer and blend until combined.
3. pour the dry mixture into the wet in the mixer and blend on low until incorporated.
**The batter will be thick!
4. Grease your crock pot then spread the batter onto the bottom.
5. Add toppings if desired.
6. Cover and cook on low 3 1/2 hours or until toothpick in center comes out clean.
7. Uncover and allow to cool 30 minutes before slicing.

- 6 medium spotty bananas
- 4 cups of oatmeal
- 2 cups of Chobani
- 2 cups of almond milk - 1 tablespoon baking power
- 1 table spoon baking soda
- Teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Crushed Walnuts on top *Approximate Ingredients... vary based on consistency

What to do?
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Spread in a nonstick tray and put in oven at 350 F, for about 65min!

- 2 cups old fashion oats

1. Preheat oven to 325°F. 
2. Add all ingredients (besides apple cubes) to a blender and blend until smooth and well combined. 
3. Add apple cubes

5. Bake for 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Avocado Banana Bread

(makes two loafs)
- 3 cups cup oat flour OR almond four
- 3 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cup avocado
- 1 1/2 cup banana
- 4 teaspoons All natural syrup or honey
- 3 tablespoons Coconut oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- Add ins! Walnuts, pecans, chocolate chips

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- line 2 8x4 inch loaf pans with parchment paper
- Large bowl: mix flour, baking soda, salt
- Add avocado, banana, coconut oil, vanilla, syrup, egg into food processor and blend!
- Combine wet and dry ingredients and mix
- Add in extras!
- Evenly distribute into the two pans - Bake for about 50 min!

Flourless, oil free, sugar free! 



• 1 cup unsweetened apple sauce

• 2 eggs

• 1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2 ½ medium or 2 large bananas)

• ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk

• 1 teaspoon baking soda

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

• ½ teaspoon salt

• ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

• 1 ¾ cups old fashioned oats

• optional: ½ cup mix-ins like chopped walnuts or pecans

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, beat the applesauce And eggs, then add in the mashed bananas and milk and whisk!
3. Add the baking soda, vanilla, salt and cinnamon, and whisk to blend. 
4. stir in the oats. Some lumps are ok! 
5. Add in your additional mix-ins
6. Pour the batter into your greased loaf pan and sprinkle lightly with cinnamon. 
7. Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

5 Ingredient Oat Pancakes


- 6 large eggs

- 2 cups old fashion oats

- 1 tablespoon vanilla

- 1 cup frozen blueberries*

- 2 cups fat free cottage cheese

waffles—> pancakes... who cares the shape or size..if they turn out to be the most deliciously tasting 5 ingredients you have ever put together!


With the inspiration from “Savory” magazine, my twin sister made these at home. Originally supposed to be just 4 ingredient pancakes, @sabrinaflores317 added in frozen blueberries and also cooked these as pancakes. According to her (and an empty plate post dinner evidence), these were demolished by my family who is home in NJ. 

Step 1: combine all ingredients into mixer and blend

Step 2: preheat and grease pan. 

Step 3. spoon out mixture in small circles onto pan. Flip once golden brown, and repeat for other side. Repeat until all mixture is used

Step 4: lick the remainder of the bowl

- 1 1/2 cups of mashed pumpkin (calabaza)
- 1 1/2 cups of banana (plátano)
- 1 1/2 cups oats (avena)

- 1tsp baking powder (levadura)
- 1 tablespoon vanilla (vainilla)
- 2 eggs (huevos)
- 1 cup yogurt (yogur )

Smash all together, throw it into the oven at 325F for an hour, and enjoy!!

Banana Carrot Oat Bread

- 2 cups oat flour (2 tazas de avena)
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon (1 cucharita de canela)
- 3/4 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp salt (3/4 cucharita de sal)
- optional 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 3 mashed, overripe banana (3 plátanos)
- 4 medium finely shredded carrots (4 zanahorias cortadas)
- 1/4 cup honey (1/4 taza miel)
- 2 eggs (2 huevos)
- 1/2 cup of milk of choice (1/2 taza de leche — tu preferencia)
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract (2cucharitas de vainilla)
- Optional: crushed walnuts, coconut, etc (opcional:nueces , coco)

Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease a 9×5 pan, or line with parchment. Combine dry ingredients in a bowl. If desired, you can add 1/2 cup crushed walnuts and/or a handful of shredded coconut. Whisk liquid ingredients—including carrot and banana—in separate bowl. Pour wet into dry, and stir to form a batter. Smooth into prepared pan. Bake on the center rack 37 minutes, then do not open the oven door at all but turn off the heat and let sit in the closed oven 10 additional minutes. If still undercooked at this time, simply turn the oven back on and continue baking—checking every 5 minutes–until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean. Let cool. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Taste and texture are much better the second day (and even better the third day as it gets sweeter).

- 2 large eggs

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease 9x5-inch loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
2. Core and chop the apples. Keep the peel on ! —unless you want or need to take it off.
3. Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix thoroughly. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
4. Bake for 30-35 minutes
5. Let loaf cool completely in loaf pan. Store bread in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Vegan Chocolate Banana Bread with beans


Here is what you will need:
- 2 cups oat flour - 1 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/3 cup cocoa
- 1 tsp ground flax seed
- 1 1/2 large banana
- 1 Can beans, rinsed
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/3 cup nut milk or water, of choice
( • 2 tazas de harina de avena • 1 cucharadita de bicarbonato de sodio
• 3/4 cucharadita de levadura • 1/3 taza de cacao en polvo• 1 cucharada de linaza molida • 1 1/2 plátanos maduros grandes • 1 lata de frijoles, enjuagados y escurridos • 1 cucharada de miel • 1/3 taza de leche / agua )

What to do:
1. Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a loaf pan.
2. In a medium-sized bowl, mix dry ingredients.
3. Place bananas, beans, honey, milk/water in a blender. Blend to combine.
4. pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix to combine. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and place in the middle of the preheated oven. Bake for 30 minutes. When the timer goes off, turn the oven off but LEAVE the loaf in the oven for 5 minutes. Total cooking time is 35 minutes.
5. Let cool before enjoying

All you need:

  • 1 Cup cooked chickpeas

  • 1 banana

  • 2 cups oats, tsp vanilla

  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/3 cup water. 


What to do: 

  1.  In a bowl, mix the oats, cinnamon, baking soda together

  2.  in a blender, blend the chickpeas, vanilla, banana, and 1/3 cup water.

  3. add in all the wet ingredients that you just blended, to the bowl  of dry ingredients and mix manually!

  4. put in a oven pan!

  5. you can line the top with another banana to get pretty and creative, like the picture has. throw it in the oven at 175 for 35 min.

  6. Put in the oven at 175 C for 35 minutes.

  7. Allow to sit for an extra 5 minutes in hot oven and then take out to cool

Chickpea Cinnamon Apple Cake

This cake came out a bit different than others because no oats were used. It was more of a fudgy texture, and it was so delicious! I only have the starting two pictures because my dad ate about half the cake before I could take a final end picture 😅.

Ingredients: - 1.5 cups cooked chickpeas
- 1 banana
- 1/4 cup + 3 tbsp coconut flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup peanut butter** or any other nut or seed butter of your choice
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 large apple chopped
- chopped cashew nuts, to decorate optional

1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C/392 F.
2. Add the cooked chickpeas, banana, coconut flour, cinnamon, baking powder, almond butter, honey, and almond milk to a food processor. Blend until smooth.
3. Transfer the batter to a shallow cake tin.
4. Decorate the top with apple slices and chopped cashew nuts, and bake for 45 minutes, until golden and crispy around the edges, but still slightly soft in the centre.
5. Allow to cool for 15 minutes before serving with fresh berries and a drizzle of nut butter. Can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days.

Apple Pie

Ingredients for the base of the "Easy Apple Pie"
- 100 gr of oatmeal flour
- 85 gr of oatmeal
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 egg
- a little water by eye (I added two and a half tablespoons)

Everything is mixed without a mixer, by hand, and you knead until they do not stick to your hands. You put it in the well crushed mold and put it in the oven 10-15 minutes at 180 degrees.

Ingredients for the stuffing:
- 3 whole eggs
- 3 apples
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 natural Greek yogurt 0%

Mix it with a blender and when you have it all beaten, you take the mold out of the oven and fill it.
With one more apple, you cut and slice and decorate it. You put a little cinnamon on top and go. You put it in the oven 20-30 minutes until it browns

Ingredientes para la base de la Tarta de Manzana fácil - 100 gr de harina de avena
- 85 gr de copos de avena
- 2 cucharadas de aceite de oliva
- 1 huevo
- un poco de agua a ojo (le añadí dos cucharadas y media)

Todo se mezcla sin batidora, a mano, y amasas hasta que no se te peguen en las manos. Lo pones en el molde bien aplastado y lo metes en el horno 10-15 minutos a 180 grados.

Ingredientes para el relleno:
- 3 huevos enteros
- 3 manzanas
- 1 cucharada de canela - 1 yogur griego natural 0% •
Lo mezclas con batidora y cuando lo tengas todo batido, sacas el molde del horno y lo rellenas.
Con una manzana más, la cortas tipo julianas y lo decoras. Le pones un poco de canela por encima y listo. La metes en el horno 20-30 minutos hasta que se dore.

What You Will Need:

- 2 eggs
- 1 cup garbanzo
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1/8 cup honey
- 1/2 cup oat milk
- 1 full grated orange peel
- 3 table spoons of dark cacao - 1 cup oats
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon

- 1 dash of salt


What to do:
Blend all together and put in over at 175 C for 40 minutes

What to do:

Pumpkin Pie/Bread!

As always, gluten free, and no sugar added.

Whoever loves pumpkin MUST try this recipe out. The bread carries a slight sweetness from the banana, and has a good kick of pumpkin flavoring!

What you will need: - 3 cups of boiled pumpkin
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 dash of sea salt
- 3/4 cup of oat milk
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup of oatmeal

What to do: - combine and blend all ingredients
- Bake in the oven for 1 hour, at 150C, and then let sit overnight to cool and “fluff”.

Strawberry Hemp Garbanzo Cake

A new invention!!! and boy was it a good one! We threw together what we had, and it turned out delicious. The best new “kick” to this recipe were the strawberries and the chocolate Hemp Protein powder. Yumm! •

- 1/2 cup drained and rinsed chickpeas
- 3/4 cup oatmeal
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons of Hemp Protein Powder (we used @hemplete Chocolate Flavored Hemp Powder)
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- 1 cup strawberries
- 1/2 cup oat milk - 4 dried dates

What to do
- combine and blend all ingredients (but save 3 big strawberries)
- Put in baking pan
- Add in slices of strawberries - Put in oven for 45 minutes at 175 C

Banana Carrot Cake Cauli-Oat Bake

First time using cauliflower for baking a bread ! What a unique combination! But hey, we love the uniqueness and embrace it! Plus, it turned out AMAZING!
What you will need:
* 1 1/2 cups GF oats
* 1 1/2 cup riced cauliflower
* 2 bananas
* 1 carrot grated
* 2 tbsp honey
* 1 tsp cinnamon
* 1 cup nut milk
* 1 cup water
* 1 tsp baking powder
* 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
* 2 whole eggs
* 1 tsp cinnamon


What to do:
- Combine all ingredients and blend!
- Put in oven for 45 min at 175 C. - After, Leave in for 20 more minutes , in the heat
- Serve the next day!

What you will need: •
- 4-5 apples/pears, cored, chopped into small chunks
- 1 tbsp cinnamon

- 14 oz of chickpeas (1½ cups cooked chickpeas)
- 3 large eggs
- 1 banana
- 1/4 cup almond butter
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 2 cups oat flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup oat milk

What to do:
1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
2. Toss prepared apples with cinnamon. Set aside.
3. Blend chickpeas and eggs until smooth and set aside.
4. In a large mixing bowl, blend eggs and almond butter until well combined. Add the chickpea mixture mix again. In a medium bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Combine all ingredients and add milk. Blend again.
5. Pour batter in a greased pan. Pour apple mixture evenly overtop, then press into the batter until batter just starts to press up through the apples. Bake for about 45-60 minutes

Quinoa based Banana Brownies!!

Putting leftover quinoa to good use! Here is another quinoa based recipe, modified to @futbolfoodie liking!

What you will need:
- 1.5 cups cooked quinoa - 3 small RIPE bananas
- 2 tbsp nut butter of choice, softened
- 2 tbsp non dairy milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs*
- 1 cup quick cook oats - 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 cup Cacao - Sliced banana to go on top, optional
- Orange (to shave the peel and sprinkle on top )- optional •

*vegan option: 1 tbsp ground flax seeds + 2 tbsp water = 1 egg

What to do:
1. Preheat your oven to 350F.
2. Transfer cooked quinoa to a bowl and fluff.
3. Place quinoa, banana, nut butter, milk, vanilla, and eggs in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. The batter will be thick and look like pancake batter.
4. Pour into bowl
5. In another bowl, mix your dry ingredients, sifting together flour and baking soda/powder.
6. Combine your dry ingredients with your banana quinoa batter until smooth.
7. Pour into a lined or greased 8×4 bread pan
8. Place in over for 50-55 minutes, cover with foil half way to prevent browning. Depending on your oven, it could take 45 minutes or up to 55 minute.
9. Shave orange peel on top

Simple Bean Bread

YUM. Chef @zduneky prepared this for Easter Sunday and it was a hit!! Just your average bread, but made with beans! And so simple, as you can see. Then you can sweeten it with a spread of whatever you want !

What you will need:
- 500g drained/ rinsed canned beans
- 2 eggs
- 3 scoops of dark cacao
- 2 bananas
- 1/2 scoop baking powder
- coconut oil (15g opcional if you want it more wet)
What to do:
1. mix everything in food processor/blender (without cacao). 2. Add cacao in with a spoon and mix all together again (by spoon). 3. Put into a baking pan
4. Put it into the oven at 180 C for 50 min!

Olive, Rosemary & Flaxseed Buckwheat Bread

First time making “bread”! Like the kind you sit down at a restaurant and have! Non sweet, but SOflavorful. We used rosemary, olives and flaxseed to give it an amazing kick. The base of the bread was also buckwheat— it was a first-time using this ingredient. Sooo cool how the buckwheat came out after they soaked and blended. Hope you guys enjoy! • so many ingredients from @herbolarionavarro •

- 250 g dry buckwheat - 1 tsp baking powder - 1 tsp Himalayan sea salt - 1 tsp dried rosemary - 1 tbsp ground golden flaxseed - 1/2 cup pitted green olives (chopped) - 215 ml liquid (nut/oat milk+water combined) •
What to do:
1. preheat oven to 375 F
2. Soak buckwheat in water for 2 hours
3. Drain buckwheat and rinse
4. Blend buckwheat with powerful blender (will turn into a pizza-like-dough
5. Add blended buckwheat to a bowl and add in flaxseed, salt, rosemary and baking powder. Mix well with hands
6. Add in liquid and olives and continue to mix with hands!
7. Add content to a lined bread sheet and put in oven for 40 min!
Pan de trigo sarraceno de oliva, romero y linaza

- 250 g de trigo sarraceno seco
- 1 cucharadita de polvo de hornear
- 1 cucharadita de sal marina del Himalaya
- 1 cucharadita de romero seco
- 1 cucharada de linaza dorada molida
- 1/2 taza de aceitunas verdes sin hueso (picadas)
- 215 ml de líquido (leche de nuez / avena + agua combinada)

Para hacer:
1. precalentar el horno a 375 F
2. Remojar el trigo sarraceno en agua durante 2 horas.
3. Drene el trigo sarraceno y enjuague
4. Mezcle el trigo sarraceno con una licuadora potente (se convertirá en una masa de pizza)
5. Agregue trigo sarraceno mezclado a un tazón y agregue semillas de lino, sal, romero y levadura en polvo. Mezclar bien con las manos
